Congrats Matt!

Matt Logan was the 2023 recipient of the ‘Best Arborist’ award in the Peterborough Reader’s Choice Awards this year! Thank you to the nominee and to those who voted! 

Matt was in a landscape technician program in 2000 when he took an elective course in arboriculture and realized it was what he really wanted to do. He received his arboriculture diploma from Fleming College shortly after. He went on to become an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist in 2007 and received his ISA Tree Risk Assessor Qualification in 2014. In 2017, Matt became an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, the highest level of arborist certification from the ISA.

Matt and Tracy have been operating Logan Tree Experts for the past 16 years with a focus on providing quality tree care and excellent customer service. Matt is currently the President of the ISA Ontario Chapter and is heavily involved in the industry.

Matt has a true passion for arboriculture but especially enjoys educating his employees, clients, and the public about proper tree care through mentorship, consultation, and community outreach.
